Today, Mrs. Cole’s class was learning about American symbols. After discussing the Statue of Liberty, and it’s green color, they did a science experiment to observe what happened using a penny. So fun! 🗽🇺🇸

The Bertrand sports/activities teams will be using a new app to communicate with the students and parents this year. The app is called Sportsyou.com, and all activities will have their own account (i.e. volleyball, football, FFA, etc.) Students and parents may be members of multiple groups, depending on what their students are all involved in. The students in each of the current activities have been given access codes to join the group, and should have that information to share with their parents. The access codes will also be available at the upcoming fall sports parents’ meetings, and coaches will discuss the use of the app a little more in depth.
