Hey Viking Nation, the fall activities are upon us; with that comes home events and concession stands. We have a handful of activities this fall that we will need help manning so that we can have them available. Anyone from the community is welcome to volunteer. We would ask parents of athletes to help cover at least a couple events.

Bertrand Community School is selling an International Cold Storage Walk-In Freezer. The school district recently purchased a new walk-in freezer. In April 2021, the condensing unit (compressor) was replaced. The walk-in freezer works great. It needs some work on the floor on the inside. One corner has a spot in which the tin is damaged. The outside dimensions of this walk-in freezer are 14 feet long by 8 feet wide. The interior dimensions are 13.3 feet long, 7.2 feet wide, and 7.6 feet tall. This walk-in freezer requires a 220 volt outlet.
To purchase this freezer, it will be sold by sealed bid. There will be a minimum bid of $4,500 to purchase the bid. Bids will a be accepted from August 22nd through September 9th. The bids will be opened at the September 12th school board meeting. The highest bid will be taken and will win the bid for the walk-in freezer. The winning bid will be contacted September 13th. The buyer will be responsible for loading the freezer and delivery of the freezer. There is no warranty with the freezer. The sale will be final on September 12th.
