Bertrand Community School

Phelps Memorial Therapy Center will be doing ACL screening and Concussion Pre-Screens for the upcoming school year. In conjunction with PMHC, area schools are switching the concussion testing from ImPact to Sway, which will involve both cognitive and balance when checking for potential concussions. These screenings will be taking place on TUESDAY , AUG, 1ST AT 7:30 a.m. in the west gym. Students will be using the Sway app on their phone/device, led by the physical therapists, to perform their concussion screening. it is important that they have their phone with them, and charged, that morning.

Gym floor update from Thursday, flooring is put down except where the bleachers set. The bleachers are moved out on the floor and the rest of the flooring will be finished. #vikingnation #SAIL

Gym floor update from Wednesday, over half the flooring is put down, the bleachers on the east side of the gym have been moved out onto the floor so that the rest of the flooring can be laid on the east side of the gym. #vikingnation #SAIL

The east gym floor has been removed, thank you to the students and staff for their hard work and efforts to get it taken out. A special thank you to Evans Repair & Hi-Line Ag for the use of their equipment. #SAIL #vikingnation

The east gym flooring that is being replaced has been cut up, and will be removed from the gym on Thursday morning, July 6th. Each section is approximately 4’ x 8’ (size of a sheet of plywood), and is available for a suggested donation to the school of $5.00 per section. The floor was cut into 256 sections; approximately 90 have currently been spoken for. If you are interested in any pieces of the flooring, come to the doors on the southeast corner of the gym building. We will have students there hauling out the pieces starting at 8:30 a.m., and could load the boards for you. #SAIL #VikingNation
