Sixth graders are working on programming in After School Club!

The geometry class is learning about polyhedron. Today, they created 5 special polyhedron called Platonic solids. They include tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron. Can you name and state the number of faces of each Platonic solids?

Mrs Gardine dives for the ball in a hard fought set which the seniors prevailed 24-26.

This great group of seniors have been through so much in their 13 years. From a classmate battling cancer, a classmate losing both parents, and a classmate suffering a TBI from an auto accident. They are strong and have even a stronger bond together. What an amazing group. Congratulations on your win. You are in the elite group of 3 to beat the seniors. 24-26, 25-23, 12-15

The Geometry students are learning orthographic drawings and nets to create three-dimensional figures.

For those attending the basketball games this evening, there is construction going on at Axtell schools, so the normal entrance on the southwest corner of the school is not accessible. The activity entrance is on the north side of the school (see the attached map).
