The committee to distribute scholarships from the Bertrand Higher Education Fund (BHEF) will be meeting this spring. BHEF Scholarships are different from memorial and other “flow-through” scholarships that move through the BHEF account. Many people are not financially able to establish large, continuous scholarships on their own, but this fund allows people to make donations of all sizes. The donations are then pooled together to help Bertrand graduates realize their dream of higher education. Certainly, the goal also continues to be support of our community through support of our students and their futures.
